Sean O’Hare grew up on a beef and fruit farm in Central Queensland, Australia. After completion of secondary schooling at the Rockhampton Grammar School, he headed west to work for company owned cattle and sheep stations throughout the channel country of South-West Queensland as well as regenerative cattle breeding and fattening operations, utilising rotational grazing systems closer to the coast. His passion for working horses and dogs which began at age 8, was fuelled and developed throughout his time on these large scale operations.
Sean has always sought experiential learning, gravitating toward mentors whose wisdom comes from real, lived experience. Guided by leading figures in Australia, he has refined his natural instincts and steadily grown in skill and insight. Still a student at heart, Sean encourages others to stay open and keep learning—and he especially enjoys mentoring those willing to explore new ways of working and being.
He began attending Resource Consulting Services (RCS) courses and others to further his knowledge on the topic of regenerative and sustainable agricultural practises. This resonated deeply with Sean and was congruent with his upbringing on a multi-specied farm and his evolvement in land care projects as a boy.
After some years, he met his wife, May Iren and they moved to her home country of Norway to continue their life together. Upon moving to Norway, Sean cofounded Kamstal AS, a Rebar supplier specialising in prefabrication and efficient solutions for site workers. Kamstal quickly expanded into 3 subsidiaries and within 5 years become an industry leader in Norway and Scandinavia.
After 7.5 years in Kamstal, Sean began shaping a new company concept—a social enterprise designed to heal the land, elevate our farmers, and strengthen the regenerative agriculture community through meaningful financial support.
He began travelling the world, working in Africa, Greenland, Scandinavia, Europe and the UK, consulting on livestock education and holding working dog training clinics in order to connect with farmers and provide guidance in their operations. It was on a trip to Hungary that Sean met Edmund and their shared values and vision were instantly clear.
